CranioSacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on bodywork approach that focuses on the craniosacral system—the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal cord—to release deep tensions and support the body’s natural healing processes.
How it works
The practitioner places their hands on various points along the head, spine, and sacrum to listen to these natural pulsations, identify restrictions or imbalances in the flow of fluid and tissue movement, and apply soft releases to restore optimal motion and function.
By addressing these subtle tensions, the therapy aims to enhance the body’s innate ability to self-regulate, improve nervous system function, and promote overall relaxation and healing without any forceful manipulation.
Sessions typically last 50-60 minutes, during which clients remain fully clothed and often fall into a deeply restful state as the gentle work encourages the body to unwind and recalibrate.
